During this school project with Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, my focus was on improving the connection between high school and university students and their educational institution. In the digital age, especially intensified by the ongoing pandemic, students are engaged in numerous daily online activities. Given the abundance of websites and apps aimed at improving language and math skills, I wanted to focus on a smaller, specific group.
Project description
I wanted to address questions about their academic journey: How does their educational trajectory from their home country align with the opportunities here? Do they receive the same possibilities? My goal was to devise an improved system that facilitates their transition, ensuring they can seamlessly integrate into the educational system without encountering unnecessary obstacles. This project involved a meaningful exploration of leveraging modern technology to provide a smoother educational experience for this specific target group. It focused on the unique challenges faced by international students who have recently immigrated to the Netherlands.
